At my job, while I got so bored from keep on tracking the phone calls and schedules. I browsed the internet with what's going on and I come across the lunar eclipse tonight. I told Liz my co-employee about it and she said she will watch on it tonight. I am kind of excited to know about it while Kristal was disappointed because she will in the class that time. It will happen past 7pm and end over 50 minutes as what I've read in yahoo news.

So by the night falls in, hubby called while he was heading for home. I told him about the lunar eclipsed tonight. He said he'll be home within the hour time that it will happen. I get hopes high while I was waiting for him. When he get home, he told me just see the moon a bit and later it was gone. I got to rushed down to the apartment building and east to the street hoping to see any light from above but nothing. The sky was like a little bit orange in color and surrounded by white clouds. There was no moon at the sky. I was not so happy. My hubby was behind me while I was looking for it and he put his coat over me while I was dismayed walking to our apartment unit. I would wait until 2010 to see it once again. It's too bad weather wasn't cooperating. Oh well, that just what nature is. It is unpredictable.

I worked the whole day but I got an early out from the job. My boss was kind I got off earlier but the pay is in full. This is one of the things I love working at my current company. Though it is not highly paid but the people and the environment is inviting to work with.

Anyway, when I got out. I head straight to a near store nearby. I looked around looking for something but wasn't able to. So I drove another few miles and found what I was looking for. It was a hard decision what gift to buy for hubby. Every time there's any occasion, a certain thing to buy for hubby is getting difficult. By luck he seemed to appreciate any one of them.

When the night came, 7:30pm at Spalti Ristorante in Palo Alto, we had dined in. The place is cozy full of balloons and lovers in the house. It could have been better to get a picture of that scene but I was too shy to put out my camera and took shots inside. I don't want to get embarrassed so I didn't. I just stared all of the angles and fixtures the restaurants has while I also talking to hubby with my eyes rolling to somewhere else. Everything was so nice and the full was great. From the starter to the salad, to the entree and dessert everything is perfect. I love that night. I made my day.

After all of that moment, 20 minutes when we got home. Hubby and I exchange gifts and I took some pictures. I enclose here are the pictures of the moment. Take a look at it.

Kind of tired from flying half way around the world. I took my vacation for 3 weeks. I started in Hongkong side trip in Macau and more days in Cebu Philippines. I was able to attend the Sinulog. Saw street dancing, parade of different costumes, floats, local artists and a lot more. People were crazy and had a good time. The mardigrass is for the baby child Jesus, we called him Sto. Nino. This is the statue that were brought by Spanish era. A gift to Raja Humabon. We symbolize Cebu with this image. And as a patronage, we celebrate this big event for him.

I had a get together for few friends and family. Majority the people that I wished to attend did come. I was so happy to see them. It's not all but next time I will try to change it. I could hope for a better count. Well its not the matter why they didn't come but they had thought of me and said apologize for a very valid reason. It's great to know that after all these years, they still remember my friendship.

I had spend most of my time with my family. Which in the first place I really wanted to happen. My 2nd purpose was for my teeth extraction which didn't happen and I spoke with my dentist. I need a surgery and it will take more recovering days. Better to save more weeks for vacation or might change job after. Who knows what will happen.

Anyway, its a short trip but glad I was able to see my family and spend time with them. I am back here in the US now and I still carry all their happy faces.
